Radio-Canada and “Cité Amerique” have announced the release of a brand new show next spring which will be hosted by Paul Houde.
This series of eight programs which was designed to encourage entrepreneurship, was named « the Dragon’s Den ». It is actually the Quebec version of theDagon’s Den concept presented in English Canada and other countries around the world.
Paul Houde, who will be at the helm of the program will enhance the imagination, innovation and entrepreneurship of French speakers across Canada.
The dragons, who are five well-known personalities in the business world will be present to evaluate the proposals and will invest an amount of one million dollars in the most interesting projects submitted by the participants.
Besides Normand Legault, Gaétan Frigon, François Lambert and Danny Vachon, we are proud to announce that Danièle Henkel, president of Daniele Henkel Enterprises will have the honour and privilege to complement the Dragons’ team. The only woman on the jury, Daniele Henkel has always displayed a perseverance, a vision of business and people skills that allowed her, in just a few years to elevate her company among the leaders in the field of health & beauty in North America. We are confident that her experience and her keen sense of entrepreneurship will be appreciated by both the jury and the participants.
When speaking about the show, Louis Laverdière from “Cité Amerique” said : “When you meet people from the business world, they highlight the lack of resources allocated to start-ups. In recent years, Quebec has been lagging behind the rest of Canada in entrepreneurship . This reality show is right on time to help stimulate and promote entrepreneurship in a constructive and exciting competition for viewers to follow. “
