World Health Organization’s Definition of Wellness

Wellness is the optimal state of health of individuals and groups. There are two focal concerns: the realization of the fullest potential of an individual physically, psychologically, socially, spiritually and economically, as well as the fulfillment of one’s role expectations in the family, community, place of worship, workplace and other settings.

DH Definition of Wellness: Positive Wellness

Wellness is the happy balance between an individual’s physical, nutritional, emotional state and lifestyle. Positive Wellness caters to all four of these elements with the understanding that one cannot exist in good health without the others.

    Confidence, self worth, self esteem, freedom of choice. A woman must believe in her own beauty. A woman must believe in her SELF.

    Healthy internally and externally. We believe in creating beauty from the inside out.

  3. Nutritional Wellness

    We are what we eat. The body’s imbalances and issues stem from what we put into it. Intolerances that we are not aware of can severely throw off our body’s well-being.
